1.Who these terms apply to

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between Hedge Professional Services Ltd ("HPS", "we", "us") and any individual or organisation ("you") that enrols in a programme, registers for an examination at the HPS computer-based exam centre, commissions corporate training or advisory services, or creates an account on this platform.

By enrolling, registering, commissioning a service or using the platform you accept these terms. If you are acting for an organisation you confirm that you are authorised to accept them on its behalf.

2.Services

HPS provides professional qualification tuition for ACCA and ICAN, ACCA certificate programmes, HPS Executive Certifications, computer-based examination services for eligible ACCA papers, corporate learning and advisory services. The content, duration, delivery mode and lecturers of any programme are described on the relevant course page and may be refined before a cohort starts; material changes are communicated to enrolled students.

3.Enrolment and learning access

Enrolment is confirmed when HPS has received and confirmed payment, or has agreed an instalment plan or corporate invoice arrangement in writing. Learning access on the platform is activated on confirmation and remains available for the duration stated on the course page.

Access is personal to the enrolled student and may not be shared. HPS may suspend access where payment is overdue, where these terms are breached, or where the integrity of an assessment is at risk.

4.Fees and payment

Fees are stated on the course page or confirmed in writing before payment. Full payment, or the first agreed instalment, is due within the period stated on the invoice or checkout page. HPS may suspend or terminate enrolment where fees are not paid when due. Payment is by bank transfer to the HPS account shown at checkout, by any card gateway HPS makes available, or by corporate invoice.

5.External professional fees

HPS fees do not include fees charged by third parties, including ACCA and ICAN registration, examination entry, annual subscription, exemption or software licence fees. These are payable by you directly to the relevant body and are governed by that body's own terms.

6.Refunds

HPS's published policy is that all payments are final once confirmed and are non-refundable, regardless of the service type. Where HPS cancels a programme or an examination sitting and cannot offer a suitable alternative, HPS will discuss a transfer of the fee to another programme or sitting. Instalment arrangements must be agreed in advance with the admissions team.

7.Conduct

Students, candidates and attendees are expected to behave respectfully towards lecturers, staff and one another, in person and on the platform. Misconduct, including cheating, impersonation, harassment or disruption, may lead to suspension or termination of enrolment without refund and, where relevant, to a report to the professional body concerned, such as ACCA or ICAN.

8.Assessments and examination integrity

Timed assessments on the platform are controlled by HPS servers. HPS may record navigation, answers and timing for an attempt to administer the assessment, to support marking and moderation, and to investigate suspected malpractice. Results may be withheld while an investigation is in progress. For computer-based examinations sat at the HPS exam centre, the rules of the awarding body apply in addition to these terms.

9.Data sharing with ACCA, ICAN and others

For ACCA and ICAN students, HPS may share your details with the relevant professional body, and with recruiters, employers and educational institutions where you have asked us to or where it is necessary to deliver a service to you, in line with applicable data protection law. The privacy policy explains what is collected and how it is used.

10.Intellectual property

Lesson recordings, notes, question banks, mock examinations and other materials provided by HPS remain the property of HPS or its licensors. They are for your personal study and may not be copied, recorded, distributed or sold. Qualification syllabuses and standards referenced in teaching remain the property of the bodies that publish them.

11.Liability

HPS provides tuition, practice and diagnostic tools to support your preparation. Examination results depend on your own effort and on the awarding body's assessment; HPS does not guarantee a pass, an exemption or an outcome. Diagnostic and calculator tools on the public site are illustrative and are not professional advice. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12.Amendments

HPS may revise these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page and apply to enrolments and registrations made after that date. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Questions about them should be sent to info@hpsnig.org or to Hedge Professional Services Ltd, No 4, Lafia Close by UBA Bank, Garki Area 8, Abuja.
