About this course
HPS's own study notes for ICAN Management Accounting (MA), written for the current syllabus. They take you through every syllabus area in order, in plain English first and then precisely, with the methods and workings the exam expects.
The notes follow ICAN's syllabus areas:
Every lesson has an exam-style worked example with full workings, the common mistakes that cost marks, exam technique, a prompt for studying with an AI assistant, a lecturer's note, key points, and a quick check with answers. Each module ends with a quiz of eight multiple-choice questions like those in Section A of the exam, each with a worked explanation; the worked examples practise the written questions of Section B. Every lesson and quiz question is tagged to its official syllabus sub-area, so your quiz results feed your Knowledge DNA and point you at the sub-areas to revisit.
What is examinable at your diet is set by ICAN's syllabus and its notices to students, so check them for your exam. For the exam format, see the MA paper page.
Who it is for: ICAN students preparing for Management Accounting (MA) on the current syllabus, studying on their own or alongside tuition. MA is a Foundation paper: the notes assume no earlier study of costing.
